What began as a weekend rummage sale to benefit public school students has turned into a daily venture that has transformed the idea of FUNdraising! Student and Parent Volunteers, as well as a great team of staff, make the PTO Thrift Shop what it is today- a friendly store full of unique, gently used treasures with all proceeds headed to the public school students of Ann Arbor!
At the Ann Arbor PTO Thrift Shop you will find:

Quality clothing of all shapes and sizes,

New and Vintage clothing, Antiques and collectibles, furniture

Household items such as linens, dishware, and small appliances,

Games and toys for kids, and much, much more....

We receive new donations every day so keep coming back!

In 2006 the Thrift Shop paid out a grand total of $99,152.50 to the public schools!

There is a new donations entrance around the side of the building to the left of the garage door. There are signs and the path is paved. This is to save heat in the winter.

There will be a new rule of "3 strikes and you're out" meaning that if the same volunteer is a no show 3 times in the school year, he or she cannot volunteer till the following year.

We also no longer require middle school students to work with a parent.

download this notice to parents and students who are concerned about getting hours at the shop
