When can I bring in my donations?
We accept donations on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays 10am-6pm; Saturdays 10am-5pm; and Sundays Noon-4pm. Donations are CLOSED on Tuesdays & Wednesdays. We will, from time to time, decline donations for a while due to high inventory levels. We do not accept donations during inclement weather due to spoilage from moisture.
Will you accept my items?
All items brought in for donation are evaluated as to their benefit to the shop and our mission. Several factors enter into our decision to accept your items, including condition of the item(s), if it is resalable, and our inventory levels at the time. We reserve the right to not accept your donation at any time. We can only confirm that we will accept your donations once we have seen them in person.
Will you give me cash for my donation?
No, we do not buy items to resell. We are a nonprofit thrift shop and all of our items are donated to us.
Will you pick up the item I want to donate?
Yes, and pickups are free! Our truck travels throughout Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti, and parts of Dexter and Saline. We only accept furniture on our truck. We ask that household items and clothing be brought into the shop. When you schedule a pickup, it is not a guarantee that we will take your item(s). On arrival, our drivers will assess your furniture and decide whether we will accept it. If your item is accepted, the drivers will take it at that time and offer you a receipt for tax purposes. If an item is declined, it will be left with you and our drivers cannot move it for you.
